Say What?!?!

Can I tell you what really got me excited about THRIVE food storage.
THE POWDERED EGGS!!
Imagine the possibilities really. I mean it is really hard to store eggs in food storage because they will go bad. You can buy two different sizes of cans one is a pantry can that holds sixty eggs or a bigger #10 can that hold 200 eggs. Some people prefer these eggs over fresh eggs because you can use them for everything like baking (you can eat the cookie dough, no salmonella), omelets, ham fried rice, you name it and you can do it with these eggs. Imagine how easy it would be to take these eggs camping with you. All you have to do is add 1 T of the powder and 2 T of water and you have yourself a whole egg.
If you want to throw a party and even just try these eggs out then give me a call or email me at kayleeneross@yahoo.com and you can get half off food or even free food just for hosting a party.

Exciting News!!!

I am one of the newest Shelf Reliance and Thrive consultants!!!

I am so excited about this I can not even tell you enough.

Anyone that really knows me know that I love love love food storage and I think that it is something so important to have in your home. Last year Jeff was laid off and even though we were fine and well fed during the whole experience I could not get the thought out of my head "What if we had a mortgage and a family to support right now?" I then did a whole bunch of research on food storage and found that it was so much easier then I had ever thought and you can actually get real food that you love. So for months I have been slightly obsessed and I started coupon shopping so that I could buy tons of food for dirt cheap and that still works for my family today but then I was introduced to Thrive and everything has changed. It is very inexpensive and they even have hundreds and hundreds of recipes that involve your food storage. They have a plan that you can figure out what food storage you need by entering some information about your family and then you choose a monthly budget and they will send the food directly to your home so you are slowly building your food storage and not even having to think about it. The great thing is that you can change your budget every month or put it on hold if you want to. You dont have to do a plan like this you can just buy your favorite items if you want. I am so excited and I am going to be having parties starting in June so if you are interested in coming or throwing a party please email me at kayleeneross@yahoo.com or call me. You get great benefits if you throw a party and what better then to come hang out and eat great food. You have to try it once and I promise you will be hooked.

DATE NIGHT

Jeff and I have had crazy schedules lately and we have not really seen each other a whole lot. So when we had the chance last weekend we had a date night just the two of us. We went for run first because we are trying to be runners or something ha ha. Then we got ready and went to dinner at Iggy's and thanks to Britt and Matt this has become one of my new fave places. We tried to take pictures and I think Jeff was a little embarrassed that the camera was out at a restaurant but I did not care. Jeff trying to be discreet. Our cute little family enjoying chick fil a milkshakes another one of our faves.
Look what is growing in my little back yard!!! I am so excited for the rest to come in.

Whats for dinner?

So the other night I really wanted chicken but I did not just want the normal ways Jeff and I make it so I went onto the food network website and found this awesome recipe. It is for Chicken Carbonara and it was yummy. Here is the link for the recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/chicken-carbonara-recipe/index.html
This recipe calls for this jar of cheese stuff and I did not have that so I just melted shredded cheddar cheese and milk and then poured that in and it worked out just fine. I do not think that the picture does it justice because it kind of looks like slop but trust me it is way good. It even smells fantastic while it is cooking because of the onions and bacon. Can you say YUM!!!!

I found these on a blog called Just cook already and they are Oreo cookies that are yummy also. Here is the website for these babies.

Best Deal Ever!!

This is not a very good picture but this last weekend I went yard sell shopping with Amber and her mom. They are queens at this stuff for sure because they know how to spot the good stuff and find all the sales.
This was my best buy for sure...
It is a bread maker that I got for........
$1.00
I tried it out yesterday and it works :) I am in love!! It can do so many things even make Jam . I have been wanting a bread maker for awhile now but I just kept procrastinating because I have an oven I can just make things the cheaper way right? Well I don't have to do that anymore because of my new toy!

Sushi/Concert/Boot...What More?!?

Don't be Jealous but I totally saw Sugarland at the E Center tonight and let me just tell you they were fantastic. I did not have any pictures because I have lost my camera charger so I can not use my camera. LAME!!!
We started out our night at Makados(I think that's the name) for some Sushi where we waited over an hour for our food and then when it came it was cold so we had to wait a little longer for warmer food. they took $36 off of our bill though so I guess you could say we got a steal of a deal for Sushi. We then headed to the concert and had a blast!!! Sugarland is awesome in concert and their set was so awesome I loved it. The lead singer wore the cutest outfit it was kind of like a Madonna outfit. LoVeD iT!
So now on to the best part of the story....We left the concert and headed to our awesome spot that was in the hotel next to the E center...WRONGO....We had a boot on our car and a piece of paper saying to call this number to pay $80 and we will take the boot off. So Emma calls the number and the guy comes right over to take the boot off. She tried fighting it because we really did not see the No Parking sign. (We were running late so we were just looking for a spot that was all) Well the guy probably gets this every stop he makes so he really did not care he basically told us that we were screwed and unless we paid him $80 then we would just be stranded because he had many other people to torture that night. We just paid the money and then drove home talking about ways we could of gotten out of it like using Mase or just buying a room because that would of been cheaper then the price of the ticket. (We were really tired OK) So that was our night and though it ended not so well it was overall a fantastic night.

He makes me giggle :)

I stole this picture off of facebook thanks to dani who took this picture of my cute guido. This dog is like a little person and he makes me laugh all the time. He does the most random things that are so funny. I know that everyone who knows me is sick of me lol because I talk about him a lot but I just had to put these cute pictures on here. You can totally see his emotion on his face it is so funny. My favorite face is when he is annoyed with me. My family says that Jeff and I spoil this dog way to much but how could you not he is just so darn cute.
He looks like he is laughing in this picture thats why I love it so much.
If you have not met Guido yet then you need to because he is just to cute to pass up.

I want to make these

I have been looking at craft blogs lately because I am needing some ideas for my place. I love all of these and I want to make them. I have found a new love for the roses that people are making with paper and fabric.

It is a good thing that school will be done next week because then I will have all the time in the world to do cute things like these.
